About Me:

My background includes working in Nursing Homes (Italy, England and Ireland) with elderly patients with intellectual & physical disabilities like Dementia, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases;  being around neglected children in Romanian Orphanages; and as a healthcare worker in Irish Hospital Environments including Radiotherapy, Breast Clinic, and Radiology Department. This helped me gain a vast experience in providing care to patients with terminal or severe illnesses.

In these settings, I learned how important it is to have a human, kind & empathic presence in the room to help them cope with symptoms while they receive invasive treatments, surgeries, and other medical procedures. My experience as a healthcare worker led me to study psychotherapy with special interest in Cancer and Palliative Care.

Helping people has always given me an immense sense of achievement. With my multicultural background, I offer a unique perspective that combines psychological and cultural insights. This is particularly beneficial when working with expats and mixed clients dealing with cultural conflicts in their relationships. I also offer health counselling to people with chronic, life-altering or terminal health conditions.

I believe one of the bravest things you can do is to understand your own story. You have a right to have a meaningful life that makes you feel happy every day. It’s hard to put yourself first sometimes. So much of your time is taken up with worry and sadness and it can be hard to focus on anything but just existing.

You're here now which means you can choose yourself this time, to share and understand your story, and in time, start living again and feeling happier.
