MIACP - Multilingual Psychotherapist & Counsellor

English, Italian, and Romanian

I am a Multilingual Psychotherapist and Counsellor, accredited by the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MIACP). Providing therapy in English, Italian, and Romanian, I offer a global perspective to a diverse clientele, specializing in Individual, Couple, and Family Dynamics.

My practice is defined by a comprehensive, integrative framework. I draw from Person-Centred Approach, Psychoanalysis, Existentialism, Integrative & Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Family & Systemic  Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Psychopathology, and Group Psychotherapy traditions while incorporating specialized modalities such as CBT for Menopause & Chronic Illnesses, Body Psychotherapy, Logotherapy, and Addiction Studies.

This multifaceted training allows me to tailor my approach to the unique psychological and physiological needs of my clients. Beyond traditional clinical settings, I serve as a Death Doula, offering compassionate support through the profound transitions of life and loss.

My clinical practice is characterized by a Holistic, Logotherapeutic and Psychoanalytic Approach to the human experience, spanning the spectrum from Family Systems to Existential Transitions. I specialize in:

Menopause-Informed CBT:

Targeted therapeutic interventions for the multifaceted symptoms of Perimenopause and Menopause, bridging the gap between physical health and mental wellness.

Existential & Chronic Support:

Logotherapy to help clients find meaning amidst the challenges of Chronic Illness and long-term health journeys. This approach is particularly powerful for those dealing with health-related suffering or life challenges.

Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy:

A depth-oriented approach that explores the unconscious processes and formative experiences that shape a person’s current thoughts, behaviors, and relational patterns.

End-of-Life Support:

Holistic Death Doula services, providing emotional and spiritual accompaniment for those navigating terminal illness and the final chapters of life.

Psychoanalysis

To further deepen my practice, I am currently completing a Professional Clinical MA in Psychoanalysis through the UCD School of Medicine. This rigorous program bridges the gap between psychiatric and psychoanalytic perspectives on mental health, involving weekly clinical case conferences at St. Vincent’s University Hospital.

This immersion allows me to bring a sophisticated, diagnostic lens to my work, particularly regarding complex presentations of Neurosis, Psychosis, and Schizophrenia. My current clinical focus explores the intricate connections between Language, Human Sexuality, the Interpretation of Dreams & Symptoms, ensuring that my clients benefit from a profound, evidence-based understanding of the human psyche across the lifespan. Psychoanalysis offers a distinctive therapeutic space to explore the unconscious processes that fundamentally shape our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

My practice is rooted in the Psychoanalytic tradition, providing a unique sanctuary where clients can speak without reservation. In this space, we begin to decipher the 'unspoken' scripts that quietly govern one’s life. This process goes beyond symptom management. By illuminating these hidden layers, clients gain a profound perspective on the meaning within their experiences, allowing them to confront the root of their distress and achieve a fundamental, lasting transformation in their psychic well-being.

Logotherapy and Existential Analysis

I have completed a Professional Diploma in Logotherapy and Existential Analysis from the Viktor Frankl Institute of Ireland. This diploma provided me a better understanding of Life & Death Concepts and Instincts, Existential Angst, and the Theory and Therapy of Mental Disorders like Neuroses, Psychoses, Schizophrenia, Criminality, and Suicide. At its heart, Logotherapy is about discovering meaning in every moment, even the painful ones. A practitioner helps you explore the balance of Ethics and Trust, the weight of Choice, and the resilience needed to face Crisis and Suffering. It’s a path away from the Inner Emptiness of the Existential Vacuum and toward a life of Happiness, Spirit, and True Responsibility.

A Logotherapist specialize in Meaning-Centered Interventions, helping people find purpose amidst crisis. Whether addressing Addiction, Depression, or Sunday Neurosis, they empower clients to shift their perspective and reclaim their lives from emptiness and despair.

Those combined modalities give me the opportunity to have a holistic and visceral understanding of my client’s needs and fears. My goal is to help my clients turn their suffering into achievement and accomplishment, to reduce anxieties that paralyses their potential, and use their spiritual resources to withstand adversity. Regardless of your identity or circumstances, you have the option to choose.

Either you choose to live on autopilot, fear, or be a victim of your circumstances, or you can opt to choose to stop reacting to your surroundings and decide how you respond to life. I believe that by taking the first step, everyone has the Power to unlock Inner Peace, promote Wellbeing, and to improve Resilience, Acceptance, Cognitive Re-appraisal, Spirituality, Happiness, overall Health, and Life Satisfaction.
